There was an instant bond when I met Daniel Dower of Dower & Hall for the first time; two creative people whose designs complement each other so well this could have been a collaboration.

Daniel designs and creates beautiful contemporary jewellery and it was inspirational to talk to a fellow designer with the same passion for bespoke, handmade creations and a desire to please and thrill our clients.

Dower & Hall are a dream find for my wedding clients, whether bride, bridesmaid, Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom, as there is something for everyone at every price point.

Pearl earrings, necklaces and bracelets in a rainbow of colours and shades perfectly complement the pearl beadwork that is an intrinsic part of my wedding dresses – and often features in my occasion and mother of the bride outfits.

Their Wild Rose necklace, earrings and cuff could have been specially designed to go with my Cascade wedding dress.

Brides following the tradition of ‘something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’ do sometimes agonise over choosing something old. Daniel is happy to create a bespoke piece of jewellery from an old piece, perhaps something given to you by your grandmother – how special that would be.

Along those lines I do sometimes incorporate pearls and crystals in a brides dress that have been taken from an old cherished necklace – old pearls have a beautiful bloom that can’t be replicated.
