Many of Elizabeth’s brides come to her on personal recommendation. Amy Sheeran came to Elizabeth after attending the wedding of a friend who looked stunning in Elizabeth Bessant Couture. Amy wanted her wedding dress to be unique and designed especially for her .
Amy had a lot of her own ideas and spent time with Elizabeth discussing her dream dress before Elizabeth started sketching initial designs.
The dress was very special indeed and Amy enjoyed the fittings with Elizabeth at her Knightsbridge couture salon often with her mother and sisters as the dress gradually evolved.
Beautiful blush pink silk over-laid with ivory tulle and exquisite lace were the base for hundreds of hours of hand cut appliqued leaves and flowers attached by hand with pearls and crystals.
The dress has a plunge back but built in cups made it easy to wear. The removable overskirt with pockets and a matching veil completed the look for Amy’s very beautiful wedding day in Barcelona.
The pretty co-ordinated bridesmaid dresses completed the story. The older bridesmaids dresses had low cowl backs, while embellished tulle added modesty to the shoulders of the younger girls’ dresses. Vintage style hand beaded belts in Elizabeth’s unique style completed each customised dress.
