Catwalk of Dreams
Backstage at The National Wedding Show at Olympia last weekend was chaotic, packed with models and make-up artists stylists, dressers and bouquets. But that was all forgotten when the models went down the catwalk, graceful, elegant and stunning.
Everyone of the eleven shows over the three days ran smoothly and it was lovely to sit in the audience and hear people gasp as my dresses came out. A lot of work went into making the gowns for that day. Myself and my assistant Sam spent long hours hand-cutting thousands of lace flowers to applique on to the finest silk tulle. But the hours of sewing and beading were worth it just to see the reaction of the public and press at the show.
We put a lot of love and hours into making all our gowns because we want to make our brides’ dreams come true. So whether you want a traditional gown or something more contemporary, we always make sure it is extra special – we want all our brides to gasp with delight.
We know that as a couture house, we are there to make magic. The first consultation is where I will sit and chat with you and find out the style of your wedding, your ideas and vision and from there the creative process can begin. Customised pattern cutting, toile and fittings follow. This is a wonderful process for both the bride and her mother to be involved in. The end result is a dress of dreams.
If you would like to come and talk to me about ideas for your wedding dress, please phone or email for an appointment. We can sit and chat with no obligation to you. Or if you would prefer you are welcome to come to one of my salon open days 10.30am-5.30pm Saturday 11 March or 10.30am-5.30pm Sunday 19 March, no appointment needed.
Hope to see you soon
